Sean Curran performed the maya match-a-mation in this test where the main character Cliff Leyland, played by actor Chuck Marra, floats out of the acceleration couch to make his way to the back of the cabin.

Control panel built by Daniel Marriott (England).
Jon Varner (San Francisco Academy of Art) built the maya 7 model of the freight capsule cabin acceleration couch and surround,
the hires geometry for the G suit that actor Chuck Marra is "wearing", and painted the wrinkle displacement maps for the suit using zbrush.
I performed the preliminary renders using the maya renderer using intermediate quality settings,
and created preliminary roto and comp in Shake.

What I find particularly exciting about the above test, is it represents the last remaining technical hurdle on this project!
There is a lot of work remaining to be done, but this says to me that we can complete this project!
